This is a tough four-part cable gland built for SWA and AWA armoured cables. It's made to handle rough industrial jobs, giving decent mechanical strength and good protection against dust and water.

Main features:

• Construction: Comes from extruded brass, so it's strong and holds up well without wearing out quickly.
• Sealing: Has a neoprene rubber seal that blocks high-pressure water jets and keeps dust out completely. Works fine in rainy, humid or dusty places.
• No twisting: Uses a three-part setup with a separate cone and ring to stop the armour wires from twisting when you fit it. There's also a skid washer inside that helps the seal stay good even when you tighten hard.
• Earthing & grip: The cone and ring clamp the cable tightly so you get reliable earth continuity and the cable stays put.
• Where it's used: Suitable for indoor and outdoor work. It's weatherproof, handles harsh conditions okay, and reduces electromagnetic interference for sensitive equipment.
